Traditional Martial Arts with a Practical Purpose
Karate at Wachusett Martial Arts is taught through Wo' Zhu' Ken-Ryu Kenpo Karate, the system developed by Shihan Paul Lombardi through decades of martial arts training and instruction.
The system maintains the structure, discipline and progression of traditional martial arts while emphasizing practical application. Students develop striking and defensive skills while also learning how martial arts concepts apply to distance, control, grappling, escapes and real-world self-defense.
For younger students, that physical training is paired with the things parents often value just as much: confidence, focus, discipline, resilience and learning how to work through something difficult.
And because WMA is intentionally a smaller school, instructors know their students personally—their strengths, where they're struggling and when they're ready for the next challenge.
